Brass Female Bulkhead Connector
A female bulkhead carries a fluid line through a panel, cabinet wall, or tank side without cutting the tube run at an awkward point: its long body passes through a drilled hole and is clamped by a locknut, presenting a compression tube end on one face and a female thread on the other. The in-line female connector covers non-panel joints. Control cabinets, water purifier housings, storage tanks, fuel cells, and refrigeration enclosures all rely on bulkhead fittings to route lines cleanly through their walls. Machine builders in beverage dispensing, laboratory equipment, and compressed-air distribution specify the female-threaded version when a gauge, valve, or hose adaptor must mount directly on the far side of the panel. For straight tube-to-tube pass-throughs, choose a bulkhead union.
Frequently Asked Questions
Drill to the panel-hole diameter listed in the table for your tube size — for example, 12.5 mm for a 6 mm fitting. A clean round hole is enough; the body thread does not cut into the panel.
Standard bodies clamp panels up to the thickness shown per size (4–10 mm depending on the fitting); thicker walls need an extended body, which we machine to order. Threads follow ISO 228/ISO 7 for BSP and ASME B1.20.1 for NPT.
