Brass Male Connector

A male connector, also called a male stud coupling, terminates a tube run into a female-threaded port on a valve, manifold, cylinder, or gauge block. One end grips the tube with a nut and ferrule; the other carries a parallel or taper external thread. Definite Metal machines brass male connectors from CW614N bar in Jamnagar, India, for tube ODs of 4–25 mm and 1/8″–1″, with BSP or NPT studs, supplied in bulk as part of our brass compression fittings range to OEM and export customers. Where the port is male-threaded, use a female connector instead; a round male connector variant suits confined spaces.

Applications & Industries

Male stud couplings are the most common way to connect pneumatic tubing into cylinders, solenoid valves, and air-preparation units, and to pipe pressure gauges into manifolds. They are also fitted in lubrication systems, LPG appliance assemblies, and water-supply connections where a tube must enter tapped equipment ports.

Frequently Asked Questions

State the tube OD and the thread — for example, 8 mm tube × 1/4″ BSP — and whether the stud must be BSPT (taper), BSPP (parallel), or NPT. Adding the working medium and pressure helps us recommend the right ferrule.

BSP threads are cut to ISO 228 (parallel) or ISO 7 (taper), and NPT to ASME B1.20.1 for North American buyers. Metric parallel threads can be produced to drawing.

As a B2B factory we quote per size and finish rather than publishing a fixed MOQ — send your quantities for a firm offer. Every batch can ship with a material test report, and our system is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Yes — inch tube sizes with NPT studs are a regular export line. Goods are packed for sea or air freight and shipped FOB Mundra or CIF to US ports.
