Brass Female Connector
Where equipment presents a male thread — a tank outlet, an immersion heater boss, a tap tail, or a threaded spigot — a female connector screws onto it and receives the tube at its compression end. If the port has an internal thread, choose a male connector instead. Check the equipment port. If the port has an internal (tapped) thread, choose a male connector; if the equipment presents an external thread, the female connector screws over it. Both accept the tube with the same nut-and-ferrule action.
BSPP parallel threads seat on a flat face and normally seal with a fibre washer or bonded seal, while BSPT and NPT taper threads seal on the thread itself with PTFE tape or paste. Tell us your mating part and we machine the matching form.
